But some how things seem to always fall into place at the last minute. My dear cousin Dave came out and together we laid out the wire (the posts were already in from last year) and then we hung the wire on the posts. This was enough of a barrier to allow the sheep and goats out to graze on the pasture and both they and I were ecstatic. It took about 3 hours in total to lay out the wire and place it. The skid steer helped carry the rolls out to the pasture and then Dave and I unrolled the wire and uprighted it, just hanging it through a hole at the top. For now, the pressure is off. Tomorrow or the next day we can tack the wire to the posts after stretching it and then make some farm gates and cross fence.
I am very grateful to my cousin Dave and another friend, Patricia, came for eggs but was dressed in her rubber boots and work clothes and she offered to do the watering while I helped Dave. See how the perfection of the world provides for those in need? I am in deep and sincere gratitude for my friends today .Thank you ever so much.
