Being Duped by Poor Health and Miracles

People are gullible. They want to believe that everyone tells the truth and is honest, especially those who have some authority and education. Doctors are amonst those elite whom people simply believe and hardly ever question. But what happens when a doctor is not a doctor, and he is lying about his credentials and prescribing treatments that are potentially dangerous.

So is Dr. Young from Young Living Essential Oils. Not only does the company prescribe the use and overuse of essential oils, which is dangerous, but they claim cures that are non existent. One such woman believed Dr. Young and died of breast cancer though she believed the essential oil therapy would cure her. Dr. Young's clinics only accept cash, so there is no accountabliltiy trail.

Time and time again, when analyzed for purity, Young Living essential oils have been found to be only partially essential oil with added fragrance oil and carrier oils to dilute the quality and save on costs to the company. Yet, they tell their buyers, folks like you and I who are scammed into a pyramid marketing scheme on top of misinformation, that the oils are farm to finish from the company. False right off the bat, that is, because they are in the USA and many of the oils they "produce" cannot be grown in the USA. Having been debunked over that the new claim is that they own the farms from where the oils are procured, but that too is false because many of the plants are grown in the wild.

Yet, still, and why do people get duped by these companies. Dr. Young killed his own baby in a home birth, where he acted as the midwife and left the baby in a pool of water too long where it drowned. He has been convicted of operating under a false MD license and then under a false ND (naturopathic doctor) license, but that license was obtained from a university that prints documents for a large fee and little paperwork. How is it that people follow such a man? He is charismatic, true, but a right out liar who is teaching the wrong messages regarding essential oils and people are blindly following him. Even in my own little town out here in the frozen quite far north, people are buying the story and the essential oils and believing in the lies the movies and flyers post. I would like to help them, but how? Where does one start to show them that yes, essential oils are medicine, but no, Young Living Essential Oils are not therapeutic grade , should not be taken internally or used full strength on the skin and are harmful in large quantities. And Young Living Essential oils are crap! There are tons of independent studies on Young Living essential oils and they have been shown to be adulterated and less than pure. The owner is a criminal operating under a fraudulent credential and should be stopped before true harm is done, if you do not already count the people who have died using his products.

This is one commentary by a real doctor that might begin to open the eyes of the supporters if they would only read it and begin to do some research on their own, not propoganda from the company. Doterra is an offshoot company of Young Living. Some employees saw how easy it was to lie and cheat and decided to break away from Young Living and start their own misrepresentation of an essential oil company modeled on the Young Living fiasco.

I believe in essential oils. They are the true essence of the plant in a molecule and harness all the goodness. Because they are so concentrated, only a drop or two in a dilution of carrier oil or water is all that is necessary and most should never be used on or in the presence of young children, whose senses are just beginning to develop. Oversensitization, allergies, and respiratory problems can result from exposure to concentrated essential oils in adults. In a small body of a child, those same concentrations are ten fold, so one can see that the harm has potential. These three articles are just a few of many that will begin to tell you the truth about Young Living and DoTerra essential oils and their false claims. Please read them and share. And do NOT support those companies. For your sake and for those who do not have the inquisitive intelligence that you do, please do not buy or use essential oils in the manner these companies instruct you to. That is dangerous and false.

Thanks for reading. Now, the rest is up to you.

Happy New Year Dear Cousin,
I miss you and pray all is well.

I just have to respond to this posting.
I do agree with you in regards to Young Living...but I need to speak about DoTerra.

As an aromatherapist and Ayurvedic Practitioner, I have searched for as pure an essential oil for therapeutic use as can be found. I did major research, fought against being involved with a network marketing company (very different than a pyramid group) and even met with the founders....tested the oils...on and on...but could not find any good reason not to affiliate with DoTerra.

Yes...the founders came from young living...not wanting to be involved with a company that did not have high moral and ethical practices they left and started doTerra. They believed in essential oils and wanted to help get the information and the essential oils out to those who are needing natural solutions for their families and themselves.

This company has touched my heart with their humanitarian practice and their desire to provide pure unadulterated oils.

I just wanted you to know that I would not affiliate myself with a company that had any questionable practices. If there was I would be leaving the company as I have done in the past with other companies.

I Love the company (doTerra), the oils and the people....but that is my opinion and my experience with both companies (I was exposed to young living years ago and didn't even consider them...i had a sick feeling in my stomach when I looked into what they had to offer).

So, hugs to you dear heart...you have a right to your opinion and I respect that and you...Love you.

Hello Diann, and thank you for reading the blog and responding with your heart. There is less damming evidence for DoTerra than there is for Young Living, true, however; the cost of the oil and the marketing scheme of certified therapeutic grade essential oils are not recognized. I know that the oils are marketed by networks and that is why the price is so high. Other reputable sources, such as Mountain Rose Herbs has never once had a false claim for their oils or herbs and the cost of their oils is so much less, so I fail to understand why one would support a company like Do Terra unless they were friends as you are. I am a great believer in fair trade, kindly grown, sparingly processed plant materials and oils with as few middle men as possible.

I do respect your opinion as you are a learned aromatherapist and Ayurvedic practitioner, two disciplines I have great belief in. I will research even more on DoTerra and their costly products.

Blessings to you my dear cousin. Namaste. Visit when you can.

With due respect, it sounds like you're criticising Young Living in order to promote another of its rivals? And what was that about YL only accepting 'cash' and some tenuous story about a woman with breast cancer dying because she used YL oils?
Where is your proof? I've bought YL by credit card so how is that a cash transaction exactly?

Oh you mean those links below your article which prove YL are adulterated and possibly deleterious to health?
One link doesn't exist anymore and the other - well, the johnsaromatherapy one - this guy is PROMOTING YL now so why would he slag something off that he considers poor quality?

I totally agree with you about people being gullible. A lot of people won't bother to check out your fake links and believe everything you say is true.

These are only a very small number of websites siting DoTerra and Young Living and their misuse of essential oils, over priced products and possibly impure oils. There are tons more.

I do not support DoTerra or Young Living.

Essential oils are gifts from plants and as such need to be treated with great respect, never used directly on the skin without dilution and in many cases, not used at all unless recommended by a qualified practitioner of aromatherapy.

Namaste.
