Harley is gone again. Last night, there was a terrible fuss and the dogs were fighting something once more. I believe Harley jumps the fence and takes on the predators alone. He gets hurt. He comes home bleeding and bloody and sore, yet he insists on jumping the fence. I have kept him inside, which he is not at all fond of, but his job, along with the other 4 livestock guardian dogs is to keep the farm safe, only he needs to stay inside the fence. I fear for his life each time he is not home. He has been gone all day and was not home this morning. It is snowing again too, with more snow since the new year than we had last year all together. What to do? What to do? Harley, please come home.
