Moving Forward Through the Pain

When people deliberately hurt me, I have a lot of trouble with my self esteem. That dates back to my childhood and all that went along with it, which I won't get into. I just want to forgive the trespasser and the trespasses and look forward to a new day. I want to see the morning sunshine glowing brightly, bringing warmth to the earth and bask in its glory. I want to smell the pristine trees in the forest and drink in their tranquility and ground myself as they are rooted to the Mother. I want to smile at the baby animals and know they are fed and content and cared for in the best way I can muster and that they are loved and happy. 


And most of all, I want to move forward through the pain of being tormented and hurt. 

Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.
