For some, the winter with snow is not tempting. My Godmother summed it up with her statement when we visited her to wish her a Merry Christmas. She said she would not want to live someplace where it was the same all the time. Do we become complacent if it is so warm and without change or hardship? Could I live in a temperate climate where each day is the same as the other day?
This big sky, these sparkling trees, the pristine snow, and the glorious sunshine are so beautiful to me. Today, I smiled the whole day long. I could not help it. How did I become so fortunate as to be where I am and have all I have? Such abundance and such beauty astounds me.
Why yes, I do live here. And I am grateful and blessed by that thought.
